TOP DOWN BOTTOM UP OPERATION

TOP DOWN BOTTON UP OPERATION

Operate the shade using the 2 handles, moving it upward and downward as evenly as possible. This will provide balanced positioning on both sides)

Cord Adjustment Procedure

If the cords are not functioning evenly, start by carefully removing the bottom hem bar to access the internal cord mechanism. Inside, you will find the lift cords secured with gray adjustment clips. Verify the strings are all out, before adjust the actual knot, cord length .Determine which side of the shade is uneven and gently untie the corresponding cord from its clip.

Without removing the clip from the cord, slide the clip upward or downward to adjust the cord length until both sides of the shade are level. Once proper alignment is achieved, securely retie the cord using the same knot configuration as originally installed. After confirming that both sides are even, reattach the bottom hem bar to complete the adjustment process.

Shade Alignment and Adjustment Instructions

If a shade is raised completely but one side appears lower than the other, this may indicate either uneven raising or unequal tension in the internal spring mechanism. Follow these steps to correct the issue:

  1. Check for even raising: Slowly raise the shade, making sure to lift both sides evenly. Uneven lifting can cause one side to sit lower.

  2. Adjust spring tension if necessary: If the shade remains uneven when fully raised, leave it in the raised position. Then, gently lower the side that is properly aligned at the top. This action allows the spring mechanism to redistribute tension evenly.

  3. Test alignment: After allowing the spring to adjust, raise the shade again to confirm that both sides now move evenly.

  4. Repeat if needed: If slight unevenness persists, repeat the process carefully until the shade operates smoothly and both sides align at the same height.
