What is the difference between the Modern Cornice and the Classic Cornice?

The modern cornice use made with Roller shade fabric and hos no padding, welt or cord options.  The Classic cornice uses drapery weight fabric which allows you to add padding,  as well as welt and nailhead top and bottom options.
